Management reserves the right to modify its eligibility conditions at any time, without notice.


The Hôtellerie guests must be autonomous, with no disabilities, and must not require any constant medical care or specific attentions. Rooms do not include phones, bathrooms or showers (shared bathrooms and showers on the same floor), and the Hôtellerie floor is not equipped with any equipment adapted to special needs (no emergency buttons to call for help).


Please notice that the daily rate is $35 per room from April 21, 2016.

Important information before you book

Planning a stay at the Hôtellerie? Book by phone at 418 656-8711, extension 2747, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. no more than 7 days in advance. You can also book on line. Please note that actual guests have priority to extend their stay.

  • In 2020, the Hôtellerie will be open from January 6th to June 18th inclusively, and August 3rd to December 17th inclusively. 
  • We have 29 rooms.
  • The rate for single or double occupancy (2 single beds) is $35 per night, per room including parking. Maximum stay: 30 consecutive nights.
  • Checkout: noon.
  • To take full advantage of our services and our facilities in comfort and safely, the Hôtellerie's customers must be autonomous without disabilities and should require no medical treatment. The Hôtellerie is located on the 5th floor of the Pavillon Marguerite-d'Youville and is connected to the Institute by a tunnel (120 meters / 394 feet). No equipment adapted to special needs. In case of emergency, a telephone giving quick access to the Institute's telephone operators is available in the corridors of the Hôtellerie.

Payment methods

We accept cash, Interac, Visa, or MasterCard. Cheques are not accepted.

All Hôtellerie proceeds go to the IUCPQ Foundation. The Hôtellerie is an important source of IUCPQ funding.
