The Hôtellerie provides affordable accommodation to anyone staying in Quebec City to receive medical care or to support a loved one. Customers must be autonomous without disabilities and should require no medical treatment. No equipment adapted to special needs. The Hôtellerie is the only resource of its kind in the greater Quebec City area and is an important source of funding for the Foundation of the IUCPQ.
Located on the 5th floor of Pavillon Marguerite-d'Youville and connected to the Institute by a tunnel (120 meters / 394 feet), the Hôtellerie simplifies the lives of patients in the IUCPQ and those who accompany them. See THE HÔTELLERIE'S OVERVIEW to check our facilities suited to your personal needs and your health.
History
The Hôtellerie was created by the Sisters of Charity of Quebec, who have been a vital part of the Institute from day one. In 1997 the congregation donated Collège Marguerite-d'Youville, a school, to the Institute: it was repurposed as Pavillon Marguerite-d'Youville. The sisters have continued to play an active role at the Institute by funding a number of IUCPQ development projects and volunteering.
